MAKÜ participated in the Türkiye Higher Education Fair held in Fas

The "Higher Education Promotion Fair in Turkey" was organized in Rabat, the capital of Morocco, by the Maarif Agency operating under the Türkiye Maarif Vakfı. Aiming to increase Turkey's international visibility in the field of higher education, 25 universities from Turkey participated in the fair. During the organization, it was also highlighted that approximately 5,000 Moroccan students study in Turkey each year, emphasizing the strengthening academic ties between the two countries.

 

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) also participated at a high level in the fair. MAKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, along with the Director of the School of Foreign Languages Prof. Dr. Dursun Köse and International Relations Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ömer Gürkan Dilek , attended the Turkish Universities Promotion Fair organized by the Türkiye Maarif Vakfı in Casablanca, Morocco.

 

The organization, which included Türkiye Maarif Vakfı President Mahmut Mustafa Özdil and numerous university rectors, was extremely productive in terms of promoting the Turkish higher education system abroad. At the fair, comprehensive information was provided to Moroccan students about the academic infrastructure, educational opportunities, scholarship possibilities, and advantages offered to international students by Turkish universities.

 

The intense interest of Moroccan students in pursuing university education in Turkey was welcomed by the university representatives participating in the fair. Especially cultural proximity, quality of education, and internationally recognized diplomas make Turkey an attractive educational center for Moroccan students.

 

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University aims to increase its international student capacity every year by actively participating in educational fairs organized in different countries in line with its internationalization vision. MAKÜ not only aims to increase the number of students but also stands out with collaborations that enhance international academic and student mobility.

 

The university administration emphasized that such organizations contribute to institutional recognition and increase Turkey's global competitiveness in the field of higher education, stating that participation in similar international events will continue to increase in the upcoming period.
